The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $35 billion of five-year notes with a 1 1/4% coupon, a 1.260% high yield, and a price of 99.951690.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.96. Tenders at the high yield were allotted 64.15%.
The median yield was 1.219%. The low yield was 1.171%.
Tenders totaled $103,437,978,000 and the Treasury accepted $35,000,038,000, including $86,628,000 of noncompetitive. The notes, dated Sept. 30, mature Sept. 30, 2015.
