The new hires are Michael Britchkow, managing director in the firm's New York office; Bryant Lewis, a senior vice president in the Atlanta office and Tony Mancini, head of municipal institutional trading, according to a press release.

"We are focused on providing value-added ideas, superior distribution, and exceptional execution for our clients," Bo Daniels, Loop Capital's head of public finance, said in a statement. "These hires strengthen our capabilities in the super important New York region and the higher education area, which has gone through some challenging issues."

New York has been a target of federal attacks and has faced budgetary pressures and challenges to sectors including higher education and healthcare. Although the region has an exceptionally resilient economy, it has seen uneven job growth and relies on Wall Street and the tech sector.

The higher education sector faces pressure as institutions increase spending to attract new students, as applications decrease and international enrollment declines. Additionally, the sector is contending with threats to its tax-exemption and cuts to research and funding.

However, Daniels said, "We believe strongly in these sectors, and they are poised for even more growth."

"Our latest additions reflect our confidence in the municipal bond market and our dedication to delivering exceptional service," Jim Reynolds, chairman and CEO of Loop Capital, said in a statement. "Having senior managed record issuance volume over the past two years, we remain bullish on the industry's trajectory."

Additionally, Loop plans to expand further, reflecting its bullishness on the muni sector, Daniels said in an email.

The firm is always looking to add talented market participants who fit its culture and help it provide coverage and support for clients, he said.

Britchkow will lead coverage of the firm's New York and New Jersey client relationships.

"The New York market is very important to us and Michael is a very talented banker with a wealth of experience and technical expertise that allows us to better serve and add value for our clients," Daniels said in an email.

Britchkow has over 20 years of public experience and most recently at Barclays. He previously held senior positions at J.P. Morgan and Bear Stearns.

Lewis will help strengthen the firm's higher education practice and Southeast coverage.

"Bryant is also very talented and is experienced in the higher education sector, and we see tremendous growth and opportunity in this sector," Daniels said. "He will also be located in Atlanta, and we're also very excited about opportunities in higher education and the general Southeast market.

Lewis spent 10 years in Barclays higher education, academic medical center and not-for-profit finance group. Most recently, he worked at Thread AI, Inc.

Mancini is a 30-year-plus veteran. He was previously at KeyBank and started his career at J.P. Morgan. He is based in New York City.

Loop ranked 15th among top underwriters in 2025, accounting for $10.55 billion in par. So far this year, Loop has senior managed $5.27 billion, according to LSEG.

Overall, the firm has participated in more than $1 trillion in transactions nationwide.
