The Treasury Department said Monday it will sell $45 billion of four-week discount bills Tuesday.
There are currently $63 billion of four-week bills outstanding.
The bills settle Aug. 10 and are due Sept. 7.
Federal Reserve banks hold nothing in maturing bills in their own accounts.
