Roberts & Ryan Investments Inc. and Citi have entered into a mentor-protégé partnership, the firms announced on Monday.
Citi will also offer training to the service-disabled veteran-owned institutional broker dealer to enhance the firm’s operations and compliance. Additionally, it will consult with Roberts & Ryan on business and organizational management.
“Citi has developed a strong working relationship with Roberts & Ryan and we are excited to see it progress to this point,” said Ed Skyler, EVP of Global Public Affairs at Citi and co-lead of Citi Salutes. “We believe in Roberts & Ryan’s mission to improve the lives of veterans and foster a supportive environment for them at work and in the broader community.”
Citi Salutes is an initiative to support veterans, service members and their families through recruiting, mentoring, leadership and community outreach programs.

Citi was the first financial agent bank to join the U.S. Treasury’s Fiscal Services Agent Mentor-Protégé Program, where large banks partner to help minority, women and veteran retail banks and credit unions.
