NEW YORK - The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $25 billion of four-week bills at a 0.085% high yield, a price of 99.993389.
The coupon equivalent was 0.086%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.98.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 83.52%. The median yield was 0.080%. The low yield was 0.050%.
The bills have an issue date of December 16 and are due January 13, 2011.
Tenders totaled $124,549,489,000 and the Treasury accepted $25,000,329,000, including $236,760,100 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $5,937,991,000 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
