NEW YORK - The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $25 billion of four-week bills at a 0.080% high yield, a price of 99.993778.
The coupon equivalent was 0.081%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.29.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 13.88%. The median yield was 0.065%. The low yield was 0.040%.
The bills have an issue date of December 9 and are due January 6, 2011.
Tenders totaled $107,139,204,500 and the Treasury accepted $25,000,552,500, including $303,459,500 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $2,418,028,000 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
