The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $34 billion of four-week bills at a 0.030% high yield, a price of 99.997667.
The coupon equivalent was 0.030%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.02.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 27.06%. The median rate was 0.025%. The low rate was 0.010%.
The bills have an issue date of Oct. 23 and are due Nov. 20.
Tenders totaled $136,659,943,500 and the Treasury accepted $34,002,003,500, including $243,946,500 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
