Jesse Albani, Alex Radisich and Sachi Schuricht were the three finance attorneys elevated.
"Our new partners represent the very best of Orrick," said Mitch Zuklie, Orrick's chairman and chief executive officer, in a statement. "Each exemplifies our commitment to excellence, sector-focused expertise and innovation— and each has demonstrated the integrity that is the foundation of our firm."
Albani, based in San Francisco, serves as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel and disclosure counsel on tax-exempt and taxable financings for affordable multifamily housing, student housing and waste-to-energy facility financings.
He recently helped develop a tax-exempt financing program to create affordable housing for middle-income families and individuals across California. He advises issuers, underwriters and developers on complex nonprofit and private-activity bond financings nationwide.
"It's an exciting moment in public finance, as lenders and developers look for innovative ways to deploy capital to address housing affordability and infrastructure needs," Albani said.
Radisich, based in Los Angeles, is a structured finance lawyer advising issuers, borrowers, underwriters and lenders across numerous asset classes.
As a member of Orrick's asset-backed securitization (ABS) team, Radisich has helped pioneer ABS transactions involving digital assets, like loans backed by cryptocurrency and tokenized securities. He also advises clients in the residential mortgage and renewable energy spaces on securitizations and warehouse financings.
In structured finance, the firm helps "clients innovate and navigate novel challenges to achieve their goals in the capital markets," Radisich said. "I'm honored to join Orrick's partnership and am thrilled to be part of a team committed to providing practical, actionable advice and top-notch service to our clients."
Schuricht, who is based in San Francisco, is a litigator who represents crypto and fintech clients in high-stakes commercial disputes globally.
Her cases often involve parallel civil, criminal and regulatory proceedings, and she works across teams to craft litigation strategies across multiple lines.
Schuricht said her experience practicing and clerking as a supreme court and appellate litigator enables her to present cases to audiences unfamiliar with "crypto speak" and to represent clients seamlessly from pre-litigation through trial and appeal.
With fintech evolving at an unprecedented pace, she said, she's thrilled to be working at a firm focused on innovation and committed to helping clients navigate the sector's ever-changing legal and business landscape.
