Columbus, Ohio-based Red Capital Markets Inc. last month promoted ScottM. Laufenberg to senior managing director.

Laufenberg joined the group in April 1995 and manages its low-income housing tax creditbusiness. Laufenberg will continue to direct that business as a senior managingdirector, according to Linda Mackov, managing director.
With the promotion, Laufenberg is now a part of Red Capital Group's executive committeeand reports to William E. Roberts, chairman of Red Capital Group.
Red Capital Markets is the investment banking and broker-dealer arm of Red CapitalGroup. Red Capital Markets underwrites tax-exempt multifamily housing bonds, among othersectors.
