The Treasury Department Thursday auctioned $29 billion of seven-year notes with a 2 3/8% coupon, a 2.394% high yield and a price of 99.878150.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.78. Tenders at the high yield were allotted 25.57%.
The median yield was 2.330%. The low yield was 2.268%.
Tenders totaled $80,492,017,500 and the Treasury accepted $29,000,045,000, including $57,017,500 of noncompetitive.
"Folloing recent yield moves, a generic muni index is now down 1% on the month with no real sub-sector showing much deviation from that result," said Kim Olsan, senior vice president of trading at FHN Financial.
