Tender rates for the Treasury Department’s latest 91-day and 182-day discount bills were lower yesterday, as the three-months incurred a 0.055% high rate, down from 0.060% last week, and the six-months incurred a 0.135% high rate, down from 0.145%.
Coupon equivalents were 0.056% and 0.137%, respectively. The price for the 91s was 99.986097 and the price for the 182s was 99.931750.
The median bid on the 91s was 0.040%. The low bid was 0.020%. Tenders at the high rate were allotted 28.49%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.32.
Tenders totaled $99,289,417,900 and the Treasury accepted $23,000,242,900, including $1,266,068,900 of noncompetitive.
The median bid for the 182s was 0.125%. The low bid was 0.080%. Tenders at the high rate were allotted 65.15%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.12.
Tenders totaled $102,903,963,300 and the Treasury accepted $25,000,463,300, including $944,163,300 of noncompetitive.
