Clarkston, Wash., School District voters will make the call in November on a $60.5 million school improvement bond after the Clarkston School Board made the ask official Monday.

This fall, voters in three Cedar Rapids-Iowa City metro area school districts will be asked to approve a total of $300 million in bond sales to rehabilitate, update and build new public schools.

The tax revenue could also be used to make up shortfalls in pension or bond payments.

The downgrade affected $38.4 million of general obligation debt.

Othello School District patrons will be asked to approve or reject a construction bond in February 2018.
