Alice Livingston "wanted nothing to do with" bonds when growing up, but found her love for communications meshes well with the municipal market.

"I am able to have a sophisticated practice while living in West Virginia and being able to see the impact of projects that I have worked on in my local community," said Carrie Cecil.   

Mentoring and a passion for helping people cultivate and achieve goals remain important to Matthew Stitt.

Chris Wimsatt's work to raise capital for the Sacramento County Department of Airports' massive infrastructure program earned him the nomination.

"What has kept me so interested in this market is the ability to actually learn something new every day, which has been extremely rewarding," said Morgan Fahy.

"I'd always had a public interest leaning, but to bundle finance with public policy and federal tax law into this gumbo of a practice that produces essential public projects is fundamentally attractive to me," said Joshua Bonney.

"Having a chance to talk directly about what we're doing and why we're doing it, it's reinforcing, in a way," said Claude Lockhart Jr.

"Part of the mission of the New York Fed is making the U.S. economy stronger and the financial system more stable for all segments of society," Timothy Little said, "and I really feel the municipal market is a critical component of that."
