Tender rates for the Treasury Department’s latest 91-day and 182-day discount bills were lower yesterday, as the three-months incurred a 1.050% high rate, down from 1.690% the prior week, and the six-months incurred a 1.550% high rate, down from 1.900%.
Coupon equivalents were 1.067% and 1.584%, respectively.
The price for the 91s was 99.734583 and that for the 182s was 99.216389. The median bid on the 91s was 0.780%. The low bid was 0.500%. Tenders at the high rate were allotted 28.51%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.33.
The median bid for the 182s was 1.390%. The low bid was 1.150%. Tenders at the high rate were allotted 56.44%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.08.
