NEW YORK - Tender rates for the Treasury Department’s latest 91-day and 182-day discount bills were higher, as the three-months incurred a 0.095% high rate, up from 0.055% the prior week, and the six-months incurred a 0.165% high rate, up from 0.135% the week before.
Coupon equivalents were 0.096% and 0.167%, respectively.
The price for the 91s was 99.975986 and that for the 182s was 99.916583.
The median bid on the 91s was 0.080%. The low bid was 0.040%.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 90.06%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.06.
Tenders totaled $93,452,455,600 and the Treasury accepted $23,000,005,600 including $1,245,361,600 of non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for themselves.
The median bid for the 182s was 0.140%. The low bid was 0.115%.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 9.31%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.88.
Tenders totaled $100,762,717,800 and the Treasury accepted $26,000,061,300, including $949,947,800 of non-competitive.
