Treasury Year Bills Go At 0.410% High Rate

NEW YORK - The Treasury Department today auctioned $27 billion of one-year bills at a 0.410% high yield, a price of 99.585444.

The coupon equivalent was 0.417%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.08.

Tenders at the high rate were allotted 65.80%. The median yield was 0.390%. The low yield was 0.325%.

The bills have an issue date of Dec. 17 and are due Dec. 16, 2010.

Tenders totaled $83,271,632,000 and the Treasury accepted $27,000,212,000, including $170,632,000 non-competitive.

The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
