Treasury Year Bills Go At 0.375% High Rate

NEW YORK - The Treasury Department today auctioned $27 billion of one-year bills at a 0.375% high yield, a price of 99.620833.

The coupon equivalent was 0.381%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.11.

Tenders at the high rate were allotted 99.35%. The median yield was 0.350%. The low yield was 0.300%.

The bills have an issue date of Oct. 22 and are due Oct. 21, 2010.

Tenders totaled $110,876,009,800 and the Treasury accepted $27,000,294,300, including $189,809,800 non-competitive.

The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
