Treasury Year Bills Go At 0.315% High Rate

NEW YORK - The Treasury Department today auctioned $27 billion of one-year bills at a 0.315% high yield, a price of 99.681500.

The coupon equivalent was 0.320%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.47.

Tenders at the high rate were allotted 88.81%. The median yield was 0.310%. The low yield was 0.280%.

The bills have an issue date of Nov. 19 and are due Nov. 18, 2010.

Tenders totaled $93,597,467,500 and the Treasury accepted $27,000,110,000, including $190,126,500 non-competitive.

The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
