Treasury to Sell $16B 4-Week Bills

NEW YORK - The Treasury Department said it will sell $16 billion of four-week discount bills tomorrow.

There are currently $65.004 billion of four-week, or 28-day, bills outstanding.

The bills settle Jan. 7 and are due Feb. 4.

Federal Reserve banks hold $2.418 billion in maturing bills in their own accounts.
