The Treasury Department said Thursday it will auction $7 billion 29-year 8-month inflation-indexed notes on June 18.
The notes are dated Feb. 15 and are due Feb. 15, 2045.
The federal infrastructure program would bring a fresh source of revenue for states and railroads.
