The Treasury Department will sell $64 billion in its quarterly refunding to paydown $16.6 billion of debt, it announce Wednesday.
Treasury will sell $24 billion three-year notes on Tuesday Feb. 10, $24 billion ten-year notes on Wednesday Feb. 11, and $16 billion 30-year notes on Thursday Feb. 12. All three issues settle Feb. 17.
Treasury said it will address seasonal borrowing needs with changes in the size of bill sales and cash management bills.
Treasury plans to cut its cash balance to $30 billion by the middle of March.
