The Treasury Department said Thursday it will auction $42 billion 91-day bills and $36 billion 182-day discount bills Monday.
The 91s settle Nov. 16, and are due Feb. 15, 2108, and the 182s settle Nov. 16, and are due May 17, 2018.
Currently, there are $32.999 billion 91-days outstanding and no 182s.
Treasury said it will also auction $11 billion 3/8% 9-year 8-month inflation-protected notes on Nov. 16.
The notes are due July 15, 2027.
"With its third straight rate cut, the Fed is sending a clear message: it's no longer just watching inflation — it's managing risk," said Gina Bolvin, president of Bolvin Wealth Management Group.
The bonds are to be used for a variety of projects aimed at recovering from multiple natural disasters that struck Lake Charles in 2020 and 2021.
