NEW YORK - The Treasury Department today auctioned $31 billion of four-week bills at a 0.085% high yield, a price of 99.993389.
The coupon equivalent was 0.086%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.07.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 22.08%. The median yield was 0.060%. The low yield was zero.
The bills have an issue date of Dec. 3 and are due Dec. 31.
Tenders totaled $ 126,270,020,100 and the Treasury accepted $31,000,180,100, including $267,568,100 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $6,285,071,700 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
