NEW YORK - The Treasury Department today auctioned $31 billion of four-week bills at a 0.055% high yield, a price of 99.995722.
The coupon equivalent was 0.056%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.82.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 27.75%. The median yield was 0.040%. The low yield was zero.
The bills have an issue date of Feb. 25 and are due March 25.
Tenders totaled $118,426,560,900 and the Treasury accepted $31,000,810,900, including $247,493,600 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $6,285,071,700 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
