NEW YORK - The Treasury Department today auctioned $24 billion of four-week bills at a 0.055% high yield, a price of 99.995722.
The coupon equivalent was 0.056%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.44.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 9.29%. The median yield was 0.035%. The low yield was zero.
The bills have an issue date of Feb. 11 and are due March 11.
Tenders totaled $106,512,022,300 and the Treasury accepted $24,000,427,300, including $259,022,300 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $5,937,991,000 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
