The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $45 billion of four-week bills at a 0.340% high yield, a price of 99.973556.
The coupon equivalent was 0.345%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.23.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 43.15%. The median rate was 0.305%. The low rate was 0.280%.
The bills have an issue date of Dec. 8 and are due Jan. 5, 2017.
Tenders totaled $145,163,209,700 and the Treasury accepted $45,000,134,700, including $369,534,700 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account.
