Treasury 4-Weeks Auctioned at 0.240% High Yield

The Treasury Department Wednesday auctioned $20 billion of four-week bills at a 0.240% high yield, a price of 99.981333.

The coupon equivalent was 0.243%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.33.

Tenders at the high rate were allotted 79.68%. The median rate was 0.190%. The low rate was 0.100%.

The bills have an issue date of October 17 and are due November 14.

Tenders totaled $86,525,395,200 and the Treasury accepted $20,000,115,200, including $222,970,400 non-competitive.

The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
