The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $24 billion of three-year notes with a 1 1/8% coupon at a 1.125% yield, a price of par.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.33.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 35.06%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 1.090%. The low yield was 0.900%.
Tenders totaled $79,811,685,400 and the Treasury accepted $24,000,180,400, including $92,785,400 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, dated June 15, will mature June 15, 2018.
