The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $24 billion of three-year notes with a 7/8% coupon at a 0.932% yield, a price of 99.831755.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.16.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 74.44%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 0.890%. The low yield was 0.700%.
Tenders totaled $75,749,776,200 and the Treasury accepted $24,000,026,200, including $39,476,200 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, dated July 15, will mature July 15, 2018.
