NEW YORK - The Treasury Department today auctioned $44 billion of two-year notes with a 1% coupon at a 1.000% yield, a price of 100.000000.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.00.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 56.32%.
The median yield was 0.960%. The low yield was 0.891%.
Tenders totaled $132,127,108,900 and the Treasury accepted $44,000,140,900, including $457,708,900 non-competitive.
The Fed banks also bought $1,488,393,700 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The two-year notes are dated March 31 and due March 31, 2012.
