Treasury 2-Year Notes Go At 0.250% High Yield

NEW YORK - The Treasury Department today auctioned $35 billion of two-year notes with a 1/4% coupon at a 0.250% yield, a price of par.

The bid-to-cover ratio was 3.75%

Tenders at the high yield were allotted 38.96%.

The median yield was 0.242%. The low yield was 0.179%.

Tenders totaled $131,202,478,200 and the Treasury accepted $35,000,195,800, including $196,678,200 non-competitive.

The Fed banks also bought $658,621,200 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.

The two-year notes are dated Jan. 31 and due Jan. 31, 2014.
