NEW YORK - The Treasury Department auctioned $20 billion of 10-year notes with a 3 3/8% coupon at a 3.470% high yield, a price of 99.203098.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.81.
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 82.49%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.
The median yield was 3.420%. The low yield was 3.250%.
Tenders totaled $70,134,616,800 and the Treasury accepted $25,000,110,600 including $106,016,800 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought $3,108,283,300 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The notes, which are dated Nov. 15, will mature Nov. 15, 2019.
