Treasury 10-Year Notes Go at 2.485% High Yield

The Treasury Department auctioned $20 billion of 9-year 11-month notes with a 2% coupon at a 2.485% high yield, a price of 95.758350.

The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.39.

Tenders at the high yield were allotted 11.51%. All competitive tenders at lower yields were accepted in full.

The median yield was 2.440%. The low yield was 2.380%.

Tenders totaled $47,706,931,000 and the Treasury accepted $20,000,048,000 including $18,631,000 non-competitive.

The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.

The notes, which are dated Nov. 15, will mature Nov. 15, 2026.
