The Treasury will auction $26 billion of 91-day bills and $28 billion of 182-day discount bills. The 91-day bills are dated March 4 and due June 3 and the 182-day bills are dated March 4 and due Sept. 2.

The Beige Book, a summary of economic commentary compiled by the 12 Fed banks, is released by the Federal Reserve Board.

 

Thursday, March 4
Initial jobless claims for the week ending Feb. 27 are released by the Labor Department.

Revised productivity and cost figures for the fourth quarter are released by the Labor Department.

Factory order, shipment and inventory figures for January are released by the Commerce Department.

Pending home sales figures for January are released by the National Association of Realtors.

 

Friday, March 5
The employment situation for February is released by the Labor Department.

Consumer credit figures for January are released by the Federal Reserve Board.
