SAN FRANCISCO — Law firm Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth has hired Katherine Thursby to work in its San Francisco office's public finance division.
Thursby formerly worked as a bond lawyer at Jones Hall.
"We expect her to continue her work as bond and disclosure counsel on a variety of matters, from schools to revenue based public utilities. We are thrilled to have her join the firm," said David Casnocha, head of Stradling's San Francisco office, in a statement.
Stradling also announced it has hired Briana Abrams, a recent University of California, Berkeley law school graduate, in its public finance group in San Francisco.
In the first quarter of 2013, Stradling ranked eighth on the national bond counsel rankings and second on the national disclosure counsel rankings.
