Nevada and Las Vegas retained the top spots in the nation for foreclosures, according to RealtyTrac.
Nevada had more than 11,000 foreclosure filings in May, or one in every 103 homes, the real estate tracking firm reported. The filings fell 6% from April.
Las Vegas had one foreclosure filing for every 89 homes, the highest in the nation. Phoenix, Chicago, Los Angeles and Sacramento followed, RealtyTrac said.
California led the nation with the most foreclosures but had a much lower rate per housing unit than Nevada.
