BRADENTON, Fla. — Birmingham, Ala.-based Regions Financial Corp. has hired Cristina Rhodebeck as vice president and senior relationship manager in its Columbia, S.C., corporate trust office.
Rhodebeck, who has more than 16 years experience in the financial services industry, will help Regions expand its trust business, said Kurt Marson, mid-Atlantic regional manager of Regions Corporate Trust.
“She has earned a stellar reputation in the industry and I am certain she will continue to enhance our growth in the South Carolina market,” Marson said.
Most recently, Rhodebeck worked for U.S. Bank in Jacksonville, Fla. Before that her career included employment at Hancock Bank and the Horne CPA Group in Jackson, Miss., as well as First Bank and Trust and Bank One in New Orleans.
Rhodebeck is a certified corporate trust specialist and a graduate of Columbia College in Missouri.
Of the top 50 trustee banks last year, Regions ranked sixth with 118 issues valued at $4.8 billion, according to Thomson Reuters.
Regions said it has $137 billion in assets as a full-service provider offering consumer and commercial banking, trust, securities brokerage, asset management, mortgage, insurance products, and related services in 16 states across the South, Midwest, and Texas.
Its investment and securities brokerage division is Morgan Keegan & Co., which has more than 300 offices.
