Philadelphia analysts to talk Trump muni impact

President Trump's impact on public finance will be explored at the next Philadelphia Area Municipal Analysts Society meeting Thursday.

"Not since the fiscal cliff has there been this level of potential consequence from federal government dealings for the municipal bond market,” said Stephen Winterstein, PhAMAS secretary and chief municipal strategist at Wilmington Trust Advisors. “We wanted to update our members with opinions from experts in the field."

The presentation on Trump's first half a year in the White House will feature perspectives from George Friedlander, managing director at Court Street Group Research, and John Godfrey, government relations director at the American Public Power Association. The meeting is scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. at Ballard Sphahr at 1735 Market Street, Philadelphia on the 51st floor.
