Kerry O'Sullivan, a veteran of the municipal bond industry and friend of the Municipal Bond Club of New York, died March 10 at the age of 59.
Mr. O'Sullivan's first job after graduating from Boston University was as an assistant in the New York State Legislature in Albany. He started his career in municipal bonds at Prudential-Bache in 1983 where he worked 10 years as an assistant on the note desk and later the intermediate bond trader. He then joined AIG as a portfolio manager, retiring in 2003.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathi Quale O'Sullivan who died in 2013. He is survived by his four children, Sean, Alison, Coleen and Kerry Joseph (KJ).
His wake will be held Monday evening at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Route 202, S. Branchburg, N.J. Funeral services will start with a prayer at 9:00 am at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 15, followed by a 10:00 am funeral liturgy at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Martinsville, NJ.
