Jerry Ford returns to MSRB board of directors

The Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board has added Jerry Ford to serve as a municipal advisor representative on its Board of Directors, filling the spot left vacant after Jill Jaworksi left her position to become the chief financial officer for the City of Chicago.

Ford is a familiar face to the MSRB, having served on the board for fiscal years 2017-2020, chairing the board's Finance and Stakeholder Engagement Committees. For the rest of 2023, he'll serve on both the Audit and Risk Committee and Finance Committee. The board is still seeking another muni advisor representative to join, with applications closing June 16.

"We're grateful to welcome Jerry back to the Board at this pivotal time as we consider and adopt priorities and a supporting budget for the 2024 fiscal year," said MSRB chair Meredith Hathorn.
