Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said it raised its rating on Glenn Heights, Texas' general obligation debt two notches, to AA-minus from A based on its recently released local GO criteria.

"The outlook is stable, reflecting our view of the city's consistent financial performance and underlying economy," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Jim Tchou.The city's full faith and credit GO pledge secures the bonds.
