Existing home sales fell 7.2% in January to a 5.05 million annual rate, exceeding economists’ estimates, the National Association of Realtors reported Friday.

The January sales data is “certainly not good news” and is “raising concerns” about sales going forward, according to Lawrence Yun, the association’s chief economist.
