The October index was originally reported as 91.7.

The smoothed annualized growth rate, a comparison of the latest figures to the preceding year's average level, jumped to 26.8% from a revised 20.2%, originally reported as 17.3%. ECRI said jobs and commodity prices pushed the index up.

“With the USFIG rising for eight straight months to a 14-month high, U.S. inflation pressures are beginning to simmer,” ECRI said in a release.
