Assured Guaranty Hires U.S. Bank's Christopher Jumper

Assured Guaranty hired Christopher Jumper from U.S. Bank to be a director in the bond insurer's public finance group.

"We are looking forward to Chris joining our seasoned team of professionals," said Jim Binette, managing director, public finance, eastern region at Assured, who Jumper will be reporting to. "He brings thirty years of experience in public finance, more recently executing a variety of transactions in the utility and transportation sectors."

Jumper, who started today, will focus on originating and underwriting new business, and maintaining and expanding relationships with industry clients. Jumper leaves a role as a relationship and portfolio manager in the public utility group at U.S. Bank.

Jumper spent the past five years at U.S. Bank and before that, was a senior director and manager in the public finance division at Fitch Ratings. Previously, Jumper spent 23 years at MBIA progressing to the position of managing director, public finance – global utilities.
