Orrick nabs top spot

Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP was in the top spot, as the firm accounted for $8.28 billion or 11.1% market share, down a bit from the $9.38 billion and 15.3% market share in the first three months of 2018.

Hawkins gains one spot

Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLP rose to second from third, as its volume held steady at $3.36 billion while its market share dipped to 4.5% from 5.5% at the same time last year.

Kutak Rock rises

Kutak Rock LLP rose to third, from fourth place with $3.31 billion in the first quarter of 2019, versus $2.92 billion the same time the prior year.

Norton nosedives

Norton Rose Fulbright dropped to fourth from second as the firm was responsible for $3.23 billion, compared with $5.25 billion the first quarter of 2018. Its market share also fell to 4.3% from 8.6% during the same time period.

Nixon Peabody pulls up higher

Nixon Peabody LLP leapt to fifth from 17th place with $2.85 billion and 3.8% market share.

Remaining bond counsel

Squire Patton Bogg moved up with sixth place from 12th place with $2.81 billion. McCall Parkhurst & Horton LLP stayed steady in seventh with $1.98 billion. Butler Snow LLP rose to eighth place from 28th place a year ago with $1.86 billion. Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth gained nine spots to ninth with $1.75 billion. And Miller Canfield jumped up to round out the top 10 from 24th place with $1.68 billion.
