While most of the rankings were mixed up from last year, Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP is an exception to the rule as it stayed in first place with $17.39 billion and 10.6% market share.

Hawkins hops up

Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLP gained one spot to second with $7.95 billion and 4.9% market share.

Kutak kicks it up

Kutak Rock LLP was one spot higher to third with $7.83 billion and 4.8% market share.

Squire sprouts up

Squire Patton Boggs moved up to fourth place with $6.37 billion or 3.9% market share, after finishing in eighth place at the same time last year with $3.38 billion and 2.2% market share.

Norton Rose Fulbright falls three places

After finishing the first six month of 2018 in second place, the firm fell to fifth during the same time this year with $5.55 billion.

Rounding out the top 10

Greenberg Traurig LLP moved up to sixth from 23rd with $4.38 billion, Nixon Peabody LLP stayed in seventh with $4.31 billion, McCall Parkhurst & Horton LLP dipped to eighth from fifth with $4.14 billion, Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth rose to ninth from 13th place accounting for $3.63 billion and Gilmore & Bell PC was one spot lower to round out the top ten with $3.32 billion.
