NABL Elects Officers And Directors

CHICAGO -- National Association of Bond Lawyers members elected the groups' officers for 2014-2015 on Wednesday during NABL's annual meeting.

Antonio Martini, a partner at Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP in Boston, automatically became president upon the election of Kenneth Artin, a managing shareholder in Bryant Miller Olive P.A.'s Orlando office, as president-elect.

Clifford Gerber, a tax partner in Sidley Austin LLP's San Francisco office, was elected treasurer and Alexandra "Sandy" MacLennan, a partner at Squire Patton Boggs LLP in Tampa, was elected secretary.

NABL members also elected new directors to its board. Teri Guarnaccia, a partner at Ballard Spahr LLP in Baltimore and Michael Larsen, a partner at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP in Charleston, S.C. , will both serve terms through 2017.

Dee Wisor, of Butler Snow LLP in Denver, was a director is 2013-2014 and was elected to fill the unexpired term of Michela Daliana, a partner at Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLP in New York who resigned from the board effective Wednesday. The term ends in 2016.

Richard Moore, a tax partner at Orrick, Herrington and Sutcliffe in San Francisco, E. Tyler Smith, a shareholder at Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A . in Greenville, S.C., and Faith Li Pettis, a partner at Pacifica Law Group in Seattle , will continue to serve as directors in 2014-2015. Smith's and Pettis' terms end in 2015, while Moore's term ends in 2016.

Additionally, Allen Robertson, a shareholder at Robinson Bradshaw & Hinson, P.A. , will remain a director for another year as immediate-past president. Ann Fillingham, the chair of the 2015 Bond Attorneys' Workshop and an attorney at Dykema Gossett PLLC in Lansing, Mich., will be an ex-officio director for one year.
