Philly Analysts Meeting to Focus on 2016 Muni Outlook

The first Philadelphia Area Municipal Analyst Society meeting of 2016 will provide an outlook for what to expect in the municipal bond market this year.

The Feb. 17 PhAMAS event entitled "2016 Municipal Market Outlook" will feature presentations by Blake Anderson, managing director, high-yield securities trading at Mesirow Financial; Natalie Cohen, head of municipal research at Wells Fargo; and Michael Zezas, executive director and chief municipal strategist at Morgan Stanley.

It will mark the third annual year-ahead outlook session hosted by PhAMAS.

"The level of uncertainty to start the year is heightened more this year than in the recent past," said PhAMAS president Tom Kozlik, a managing director and municipal strategist in the PNC Municipal Capital Markets Group. "These three excellent and respected analysts will help the Philadelphia analyst community sift through recent events while trying to anticipate how trends will evolve.
