Treasury Year Bills Go at 0.245% High Rate

The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $25 billion of 364-day bills at a 0.245% high yield, a price of 99.752278.

The coupon equivalent was 0.250%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.11.

Tenders at the high rate were allotted 87.53%. The median yield was 0.240%. The low yield was 0.220%.

The bills have an issue date of April 30 and are due April 28, 2016.

Tenders totaled $102,718,554,800 and the Treasury accepted $25,000,390,800, including $133,267,800 non-competitive.

The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
