The Council of Development Finance Agencies is launching a new initiative known as the Illinois Financing Roundtable with plans for a webcast to kickstart the effort set for Dec. 10.
The Roundtable’s goal is to help develop a sustainable economic development finance industry for the state of Illinois and will bring the development finance industry together through education, resource development, research and networking.
“CDFA is very proud to announce the launch of this new state roundtable for the development finance community in Illinois,” said CDFA president Toby Rittner. “Illinois has been one of CDFA’s most active and supportive states during our 30-year history. Launching this Roundtable is a milestone achievement for both CDFA and the leadership in the state.”
The Roundtable will be offer webcasts, online resources, live events and a dedicated state finance newsletter in the coming months.
